Camberley is a Surrey commuter town 50 km southwest of central London, grown up around the Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst. Get around
The centre is small enough to walk: station to The Mall is about 5 minutes. Buses run from both sides of the road by the station to Farnborough, Aldershot, Guildford and London, and out to Frimley, Heatherside and Mytchett. A car is the practical option for the canal, Deepcut and the golf courses. Hackney cabs can be hailed or booked and use Surrey Heath regulated fares; minicabs must be pre-booked and the price agreed.
