Buena Park is a small Orange County city built around one theme park and a strip of dinner theatres on Beach Boulevard. Knott's Berry Farm, Knott's Soak City and three show venues sit within walking distance of each other, and the rest of the city is low-rise suburbs. Most travellers use it as a cheaper, quieter bed base for the Disneyland Resort, 10–20 minutes south.

Get around
Beach Boulevard is the spine: Knott's Berry Farm, Knott's Marketplace, Medieval Times, Pirates Dinner Adventure and the Beach Boulevard Club are all on it and walkable from each other. For anything else you need a car or rideshare — the city is low-density and sidewalks thin out away from Beach Boulevard. OCTA routes 29 (Beach Blvd) and 38 (La Palma Ave) and LA Metro route 460 all stop at Knott's Berry Farm; Metrolink's Orange County Line serves the Buena Park station at 8400 Lakeknoll Dr, one stop from Fullerton.
