Bucyrus is a small Crawford County town on US-30 between Lima and Mansfield, about 1 h 25 min north of Columbus. It calls itself America's Bratwurst Capital and its real draws are a butcher-shop bratwurst, a downtown mural, the T&O rail station project and two mid-summer events. It is a stop on a west-central Ohio drive, not a destination in itself.

Get around
You need a car. Downtown is walkable in about 15 minutes end to end, but the motels, the fairgrounds and the highway exits are spread along US-30 and SR-4. No local bus network worth planning around; taxis and rideshare are thin, so do not count on a late-night pickup.
