Bucks County sits between Philadelphia and New Jersey, about an hour by car from Center City. It is a county of small towns, river villages and parks, not one destination. Sleep in Doylestown for museums and a walkable centre, in New Hope for the Delaware River and evening life, or in Langhorne or Bensalem for cheaper rooms and SEPTA access to Philadelphia. Without a car you can reach the river towns by SEPTA, but the parks and covered bridges need wheels.
