Broadway
Give Broadway one full day and one night: walk the High Street, climb to Broadway Tower, then move on. Two nights if you want Snowshill and the steam railway.
Broadway is a single wide street of 16th-century limestone houses at the northern gateway to the Cotswolds, in Worcestershire. It is compact, walkable and quieter than Bourton-on-the-Water, but the two headline sights — Broadway Tower and Snowshill Manor — sit outside the village and need a car, a taxi or a long walk. Most visitors see the street in half a day and use Broadway as a base for the wider Cotswolds.

Get around
The village is flat and small: everything on the High Street and around the Green is a 10-minute walk. Broadway Tower and Snowshill Manor are 1.5–3 miles away with no useful bus, so plan on a car, a taxi or a proper walk.
