Braubach
Braubach is a half-day stop for Marksburg Castle: arrive by train from Koblenz (13 min), tour the castle, then continue along the Rhine. One night only if you want a quiet evening by the river.
Braubach is a small town on the Middle Rhine, best known for Marksburg, one of the few hill castles in the region never destroyed. The town itself is a short walk of half-timbered houses and a riverside promenade. Most travellers visit as a day trip from Koblenz or as a stop between Koblenz and Frankfurt.
