Bongao

Spend 1–2 days in Bongao to see the town centre, Mount Bongao hike and nearby islands; longer only for island‑hopping trips.

Bongao is the provincial capital of Tawi‑Tawi, the southernmost town of the Philippines. Its attractions are clustered near the waterfront and a short hike up Mount Bongao. Day trips to Panam Pangan Island or the Bolobok Rock Shelter are doable in a half‑day. Most visitors stay one night and depart to other Bangsamoro islands.
