Boca Raton is a manicured, low-key South Florida city halfway between West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale, built around Addison Mizner's Spanish-revival downtown. Two nights covers the beach, Mizner Park and the museums; a car makes the western parks and Delray Beach easy. It is safe and comfortable but not a party town, and outside downtown it is not walkable.

Get around
Rent a car: Palm Tran buses run every 20–45 minutes on limited routes and the city is not walkable outside downtown. Tri-Rail (Yamato Road station) and Brightline (101 NW 4th St, downtown) link Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. Buses 92 and 94 connect downtown with the beach and the Tri-Rail station.
