Biskupin
Half a day is enough: see the reconstructed Iron-Age settlement and the narrow-gauge railway museum, then move on to Żnin or Bydgoszcz.
Biskupin is a small village in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie lake district, famous for its reconstructed Lusatian culture settlement from about 800–400 BCE. The open-air archaeological museum is the main draw, often busy with school groups. Most visitors come by car for a half-day stop between Bydgoszcz and Poznań.
