Go for 1–2 nights if you are travelling with kids for Legoland and Lego House; otherwise skip — the town is a Lego campus with an airport.
Billund is a town of about 6,000 people built around the Lego company: Legoland, Lego House and the Lalandia resort sit within walking distance of each other, and the airport is Denmark's second-busiest. There is no railway station, so you arrive by air, bus or car. Two nights covers the parks without rushing; one night is enough if you only want Lego House.
