Bigul
Bigul is a quiet hill village for one night: arrive by afternoon, watch the sunset over the Himalayas, leave the next morning. Not a base.
Bigul is a tiny hamlet in Bageshwar district, Uttarakhand, at 2,060 m. It offers wide Himalayan views from Nandadevi to Panchachuli, a short sunset walk and a historic British-era tax-collection site. Most travellers stop for one night between Bageshwar and Chaukori or as a detour from Kausani.
