Bethpage

Stay 1 night only with a Bethpage Black tee time; otherwise day-trip from Garden City or Hicksville on the LIRR.

Bethpage is a small Nassau County hamlet on the LIRR Ronkonkoma Branch, about 50 minutes from Penn Station. Its pull is Bethpage State Park and the Black golf course, plus a walkable strip of taverns and pizzerias around the station. There is little sightseeing beyond that, so most travellers pass through or stay one night.

Get around

Walk the Broadway/Central Ave strip; everything else needs a car or taxi. Parking is free and easy. The LIRR Ronkonkoma Branch runs from Bethpage station to Hicksville (west) and Farmingdale (east), with connections to Penn Station and Greenport.
