One day in Belfast
Start in the Titanic Quarter. Titanic Belfast opens in the morning and takes 2–3 hours; book a timed slot in summer. The slipways and the dry dock (the Thompson Dock) are outside and free to walk. From there it is a 20–25 minute walk or a short bus ride into the centre (check).
In the centre, the Cathedral Quarter and St Anne's Cathedral are worth an hour, and the Ulster Museum in the Queen's Quarter is free. If you have energy left, a Black Taxi tour of the murals and peace walls takes about 1.5 hours and is the fastest way to see the west of the city without a car (check).

Two days in Belfast
Day one: Titanic Quarter in the morning, then the centre and Cathedral Quarter. Day two: the west of the city in the morning — the murals, the peace walls and the Falls and Shankill roads, on foot with a guide or by taxi — then the Queen's Quarter and Botanic Gardens in the afternoon.
Two days is enough to see the city without rushing. It does not leave time for the Causeway Coast, so choose between the two if you only have two days.
Three days: add the Causeway Coast
The third day is best spent on the coast. The Giant's Causeway, the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge and the Dark Hedges are all along the same stretch of the north coast, roughly 2 hours by car from Belfast (check).
