Atlanta is the capital of Georgia and the hub of the US South, with three separate skylines (Downtown, Midtown, Buckhead) and a metro of about 6.3 million people. It is a car-first, spread-out city, but MARTA rail links the airport, Downtown and Midtown, so a short trip without a car works if you stay central.
