Asuke
足助
Asuke is a half-day trip from Toyota or Nagoya for the Korankei Gorge and the old post-town streets. One night only if you want a slow walk and an onsen.
Asuke, a former post town in the hills of Toyota, preserves black-board houses and white-walled warehouses. The main draw is Korankei Gorge, famous for autumn leaves in November. Most visitors come for a few hours; an overnight stay is quiet but limited.
