Assinie is a resort town on the mouth of the Aby Lagoon, 90 km east of Abidjan. The narrow peninsula La Passe is lined with luxury villas and high-rise resorts; the lagoon side has fishermen's houses on stilts and access to Îles Ehotilé National Park. Most visitors come for the beaches and the park, and two nights let you do both without rushing.
