Argalasti
Half a day to one night: enough to see the village, swim at Kalamos or Paou beach, and eat on the square. Use it as a base for South Pelion beaches.
Argalasti is the commercial and transport hub of South Pelion, a 20th-century village with a notable bell tower and fragments of older buildings in its walls. Most visitors stop here for a meal or a night before heading to the Pagasitic Gulf or Aegean beaches. The village itself is compact and walkable.
