Andro, 25 km east of Imphal, is a compact cultural stop in the Imphal Valley. Its main draws are the Panam Ningthou sacred site with a fire burning since the 1st century AD, the Mutua Museum showcasing Manipur's tribes, and Santhei Natural Park. Most visitors spend 3–4 hours here as a half-day trip from Imphal.
