Anapa is a family-oriented beach town on the Black Sea coast of Krasnodar Krai, about 150 km northwest of Sochi. Its main draw is a long, sandy beach and a shallow, warm sea. The town itself has a small historic core and a few museums, but most visitors come for the coast. Two nights are enough for a beach break; one day is enough to see the sights.
