Amed is a 14 km strip of fishing villages on Bali's north-east coast, from Culik east through Jemeluk, Bunutan, Lipah, Selang, Banyuning and Aas. It is the main base for the USAT Liberty wreck at Tulamben and for shore snorkelling. There is almost no public transport, so pick one village and stay there.
