Amanohashidate
天橋立
Spend a night to see sunrise on the sand bar and explore the bridge; one full day is enough for the views and local food.
Amanohashidate is a 3.6 km pine‑covered sand bar in northern Kyoto Prefecture. The main attraction is the bridge itself, best at sunrise or from the hilltop lifts. Small villages are walkable, bike rentals are cheap, and overnight stays let you catch the early‑morning view.
