Aladdin
Treat Aladdin as a 2-hour stop on the Devils Tower drive, not a base: the store, the coal tipple and one café, then move on.
Aladdin is a 15-person town on Highway 24 in northeast Wyoming, 26 miles (42 km) east of Devils Tower. It exists for travellers as a single short stop: an 1896 general store on the National Register, a historic coal tipple a mile away, and a café and motel six miles east. There is no town grid to wander and no second day of things to do. Come for the store and the tipple, eat at Cindy B's, and sleep in Sundance, Hulett or Gillette unless you specifically want the Bunkhouse or the motel.

Get around
You need a car. Walking or biking works inside the town itself, but the store, the tipple, the café and the motel sit miles apart on Highway 24 with no sidewalk and no shuttle. Fill up in Sundance or Gillette before you come; there is no fuel stop in Aladdin.
