Aksa
Skip Aksa as a destination: the beach is unsafe for swimming, the area is a weekend party spot with little else, and Mumbai's coastline offers better options. A half-day trip from Malad is enough if you must see it.
Aksa is a narrow beach in Mumbai's northwestern suburbs, known locally as a weekend hangout for young crowds. The swimming is dangerous due to shifting sands and strong currents, and the main draw is the beach itself plus a few cottages. Most visitors come for a few hours, not a stay.
