Abagana
Skip Abagana as a base unless you have a specific reason (festival, family visit, civil-war history). Half a day on a road trip between Onitsha and Enugu is enough: see the Oye-Agu Market, then move on.
Abagana is a market town on the old Enugu–Onitsha road, best known for the 1968 Abagana Ambush during the Biafran War. It has no major tourist infrastructure and most travellers pass through without stopping. The Uta-Anu and Ofala festivals draw visitors for a day, but the town itself offers little for a longer stay.
