Đà Lạt is a French-era hill station on the Lâm Viên plateau and Vietnam's favourite domestic holiday town. Days are mild and nights cold, a relief after Saigon or the coast. The town is busy and built-up; the reasons to stay are the countryside rides, the coffee farms, the night market and the eccentric sights like the Crazy House.
