Know before you go

  • A cast-iron clock tower from the late 19th century, given to the town by the Berkeley family (exact donor and date on the plaque: check on site) — one of the most-photographed small landmarks in St Kitts, modelled loosely on London street clocks of the period.
  • The Circus itself was laid out to copy Piccadilly Circus in London, hence the name.
  • It is a working roundabout, not a pedestrian plaza: traffic circles it constantly.
